Looking for stuff to do, see, and eat before or after the wedding? Thought so. Below is a list of some of our favorite places in the Bay Area that you absolutely must check out. I mean, you came all this way...

 

HOPLAND & HEALDSBURG

DO

Do a wine & goat cheese tasting at Pennyroyal Farm (and take the tour!)

Rent a kayak, stand-up paddle board, or boat at Lake Sonoma

Take a guided horse ride around Lake Sonoma (or just stop by the beer garden overlooking the lake!)

Go on a wine tour (DD included!) around the Dry Creek Valley. Or do it by bike

Let Comstock Winery plan a picnic for you

Walk, shop, eat, and drink around Healdsburg's Plaza

Take a canoe ride down the Russian River

 

SAN FRANCISCO

SEE + DO

Have a picnic at Mission Dolores Park 

Capture a classic SF 'gram while singing the Full House theme song in front of the Painted Ladies 

Take a walking audio tour around Haight-Ashbury using the Detour app

 Walk through Golden Gate Park and stop at the De Young Fine Arts Museum or the California Academy of Sciences

Walk through Lands End and the Sutro Baths, which features mini hikes to pretty, rocky beaches with stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge

Take an Alcatraz Tour (book early!)

Get your tiki on at the famous Tonga Room 

Catch a Giants game at AT&T Park (or just go for the garlic fries and Bay views)

Eat and shop your way through The Ferry Building

Walk or run the Lyon Street Steps

 

NORTH BAY

Reserve a table (up to 4 months in advance) at Hog Island Oyster Company on Tomales Bay

 

Drive, hike, or kayak through Point Reyes National Seashore (and have lunch at The Marshall Store)

 

Hike Mount Tamalpais or Muir Woods to see the famous Redwoods

 

Catch some rays at Stinson Beach and have lunch at the Siren Canteen

 

Walk, bike, or drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to capture that perfect ‘gram at the Battery Spencer Lookout

 

Take the Ferry across the bay to Sausalito and have brunch at Fred’s Coffee Shop or lunch at Fish

 

Check out Muir Beach and hike along the Coastal Trail to Pirates Cove
